In 2005, a new ministry of Temple Baptist Church was started -- Temple Baptist Academy.  There is a great need in our country today for children to be educated without the indoctrination of humanistic teachings.  As God directed, we opened the doors of Temple Baptist Academy with the purpose of training young men and young ladies to be leaders in our communities.  By God's grace and help, we will continue to do just that!

 

 Temple Baptist Academy has a 4-day school week with classes beginning at 8:20 and ending at 3:35.  Currently, all classes are done using the Alpha & Omega Switched-On Online Curriculum with the exception of Bible class.  Our Bible class is designed and taught by the teachers of Temple Baptist Academy.  We strive to provide each student with the knowledge and information needed in Mathematics, English, History, Science, Bible, and different elective courses.  In addition to the academia, we want to help each student live the destiny that God has for them.  They are taught principles of "everyday living" and how to apply Biblical truths to "everyday situations".

 

 

Another aspect of Temple Baptist Academy is our weekly Chapel services.  Our Chapel services are held on Thursday morning at 11:00 at the church.  Pastor Howerton and Bro. Ben preach as well as preachers from throughout the area.  These are always exciting and challenging messages!

 

Through Temple Baptist Academy we work with home-schoolers and parents to provide opportunities for activities and field trips.  Each of these activities are planned in advance with notices being sent out.
