But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:

Children's Ministry

 

     Children are a heritage from the Lord, the Bible says.  At Temple Baptist Church, we want to provide Bible teaching and preaching for people of all ages.  As God has directed, Temple Baptist Church provides a wide array of Children's Ministries to reach children of all ages.  

Sunday School

    

     An important part of every child's life is to be taught the Word of God.  There is never such thing as "too young to start learning".  Paul told Timothy that from a child he was taught the Scriptures.  As a local, New Testament Church, we strive to teach children of all ages the Word of God.  There are Sunday School classes for children ages 2+.  Each class is designed with age specific lessons and materials. All classes exist to teach children God's Word.

 

Children's/Junior Church

    

     Every Sunday morning, during the morning worship, children ages 3-12 have a service with preaching, music, and activities.  During this time, children are given memory verses to learn, new songs to sing, Bible games to play, and a Biblical message to hear!

 

     Our Children's Church is taught by Bro. Ron Monaghan and is helped by his wife - Vicki.  Our Junior Church is taught by Bro. Del Rich and is helped by his wife - Lori, and Bro. & Mrs. Buche.  Between these two services, children are again encouraged to learn more about God!

 

                                                                                   

Bus Ministry

    

     Another vital children's outreach is our bus ministry. Under the guidance of Bro. Nick Buche and the help of bus captain, Bro. Ron Monaghan, our bus ministry exists to bring those to church who need a ride.  There is a great time of singing, games, and a one of a kind bus trip right through the heart of Wichita!

 

 

Vacation Bible School

 

     A highlight of every summer at Temple Baptist Church is our Vacation Bible School.  Through different themes, children are taught important lessons from God's Word in a 3-day VBS that concludes with a Sunday Night VBS Program.

 

Harvest Festival

 

     What is the fall season without a Harvest Fellowship?  During the last weekend of October, we have our annual Harvest Festival.  Members from TBC set up a carnival of games, prizes, and food for kids to come and participate in.  This event is topped off with a message from God's Word!  We have seen God bless in the past, and we always look forward to this great weekend of fun!
